PSEF Membership Application

Thank you for your interest in joining the People’s Solar Energy Fund (PSEF)!

In joining PSEF, members agree to:

• Build our cooperative of community-based solar developers.
• Bring projects in for financing through PSEF.
• Support fundraising for PSEF.
• Engage with other members to create policies to guide PSEF.
• Participate (as appropriate and within the structure of PSEF) in the review of loan applications and funding decisions based on the vision, values, and lending criteria we have adopted for our work together.
• Join the community of learning and solidarity to develop your organization’s capacity for community based solar development and to support the capacity building of fellow members in the network.
• Engage in PSEF with a spirit of good faith and solidarity, treat PSEF as a commons whose success you have an equal stake in, and commit to the greater good of all fellow members with the understanding that our futures are interconnected and the success of one helps the success of all.
• Observe basic confidentiality and non-disclosure norms in order to protect the commons and our shared resources for current and future members.

PSEF accepts membership applications year-round and reviews them twice annually. Applications submitted by May 1 are considered in the Fall Cycle with decisions by mid-October, while applications submitted by November 1 are considered in the Spring Cycle with decisions by mid-April.
